Gifts of Land or Assets
If you would like to make a donation of land or financial assets or include The Ashburnham Conservation Trust in your will please contact us. We would be happy to discuss the details and conditions of your donation with you. So far we have been the recipient of two parcels of land.
Donated Conservation Restrictions
Another method that we use to leverage assets for land protection projects is to arrange for donated Conservation Restrictions which the State accepts as matching funds when grants require that the town come up with match money as a condition of receiving a grant.
Time, Goods and Services
As an all volunteer organization we rely heavily on volunteers. Not just people to clear trails and beaches but those with professional services as well such as clerical, bookeeping, legal, surveyor services to mention a few. In addition we need things like office equipment and supplies. Currently every thing as much from our how personal assets as possible to keep organization costs down.
